How to make your own Coconut flour and Coconut milk (paleo, gluten free, low carb, diabetic friendly)

I feel so blessed that I was exposed to Paleo. It saved my life and it has saved the life of many other people. Food should be our medicine but unfortunately our food nowadays it is filled with chemical and ingredients that does more harm than anything else. In Paleo lifestyle, its all about being a chef in your own kitchen. Eating more at home than eating out. Controlling what goes into your body. You can still eat cakes and yummy desserts provided its made with healthy ingredients. For me coconut flour is the Holy Grail of all the flours. Its so sacred and soothes my soul with its natural exotic flavour and sweetness. It is low carb and high in healthy fats which our body needs for the well function of our brain and hormones. It is also higher in fiber and protein when compared to wheat flour. It is a better option than nut flour due to the Omega 6 PUFA contains in the nut or seed flour. Buying coconut flour can be hard due to its availability. I have not till now fou...

Paleo cough syrup, only 3 ingredient (Natural Home Remedy)

I used to get sick all the time back in the pre-paleo days. Ever since I have been doing Paleo, which is around a year now, I never got ill that much. Even during winter, where everyone around me is falling sick or catching cold but I survived the virus without getting infected. I have back in the days always relied on chemical filled tablets, to cure my fever or cough but since I found this remedy, I have never turned back to the pharmacy. This cough syrup is so easy to be made. I mean most of us have these basic ingredients in our kitchen cabinet. You will need raw honey, juice of a few young ginger, and juice of  a lemon. Mix all these three ingredients well and store it in an airtig...

How to travel in Europe Gluten free and Dairy free

Image
Pack as much of food as you can when you travel Hey its been awhile since my last post. My sisters came all the way from my home country Malaysia,  to visit me in Germany. So we spent a few days in Germany before we started our long awaited Europe tour. We started our tour in Manchester and Southport. The brother from my Maternal grandpa is living there. So we decided to visit him and his family. Our stay there was so amazing. The family were so welcoming and showered us with lots of love and they even catered to my allergies. I mean I felt so blessed. Grandma and her daughter even planned a 2 days London tour for us. We ate mostly in Asian restaurant. We also had our dinner in Nandos on our first day in London. Í even manage to have a delicious cup of dairy free Latte at Costa. Imagine my happiness, you would not find such convenience in my city where I live in, in Germany unless it is in Starbucks in some big cities. After our UK tour we flew back to my home in German...
