Paleo, Low Carb, No-Bake Energy Balls ( Ladoo )





Ever felt so demotivated because you do not own an oven to bake up delicious paleo treat when you are doing Low carb paleo for weight loss??? Well now not  anymore. This energy balls are so delicious, requires only few ingredients and in no time these treats are ready to be indulged. It is healthy and guilt free, making it a perfect choice for pre-workout snack or simply enjoy it as a dessert.....which ever way pleases you. It contains good amount of energy coming from great sources of fats and protein. So now without further a do lets get started on the recipe for this ´wonderballs´:-

You will need:-

  • 1 1/2 cups of almonds
  • 3/4 cups of unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cups of sunflower seeds
  • 4 pitted dates
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup of Honey
  • Spices of your choice for seasoning ( cardamon, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, etc )

Method :-

  1. Add almonds and sunflower seeds in a food processor and blend it for around 5 minutes 
  2. Once the fats in both the almonds and the sunflower seeds start to come out and the mixture start to get a lil sticky, Add the Dates, salt and seasoning a pulse it for anther 30 seconds.
  3. Finally add the honey and the coconut flakes and blend it for a around a minute or two till all the ingredients all well mixed.
  4. Now take some of the mixture in your hands and start rolling into a ball with palm of your hands. Store it in fridge for hours before indulging. 

Note:- You can roll the ball into sizes that fits your taste. I prefer rolling the balls into different sizes,,,, large, medium and small depending on which size of energy I need on that particular day.
