Bread is my staple for breakfast. I can't imagine living without bread. This bread recipe which I am going to share with you, have really helped my transitioning into paleo lifestyle. I have at the beginning baked quite a number of paleo breads and I must be honest with you... the bread just taste horrible. I could barely swallow it. But I never gave up on my quest for creating the perfect paleo based bread that will suit my taste. Rule no.1 when you are tasting a paleo bread, is that you must forget the taste of the normal gluten and yeast filled bread. You must be prepared to accept a different tasting bread. A bread that will still taste good, look like a bread, fits as bread but not the same as the traditional bread. Once you are ready to accept these conditions, then you are now allowed to continue reading this post. After baking a few breads without success, I am so glad that I have managed with time and experience creating a good flax bread. Baking gluten free and the paleo way its not so hard, if you know the tips and tricks. You will only get better with experience. With this recipe; you can never go wrong cos it is so easy and I must say this bread is the best paleo bread I have ever tasted. It holds well for sandwiches. It is moist and yet chewy like a normal bread. At some point when I'm eating this bread for breakfast I forgot that I was having a paleo bread instead of the normal cos the bread tasted just so good and almost mimics the taste of a dark wheat bread. Even my husband approves the taste and the texture of this bread. This bread has almost zero carbs... Yes you heard me right,,,, It contains almost ZERO carbs nett. Its high in fiber and protein. This is the perfect bread if you want to lose body fats. The main ingredients for this bread is flax seeds. Flax seeds are a rich source of Omega-3 fatty acids, very fibrous, high in anti-oxidants, vitamin B1 and manganese. What a perfect way to start your morning with a very nutritious bread. Something that will not spike your insulin and aiding in weight loss at the same time. Without further a do, let me present to you my delicious flax bread....
