Today I am going to share with you on how to make your own chocolate bar, with healthy ingredients. Chocolates have always been my best friend. I guess chocolates are indeed every girl's best friend. Food allergy are on the rise these days that including to dairy, gluten, soy and as well to additives in most products from the supermarkets. Chocolates are one of the many items that most people or even children who have allergy, cant have them anymore due to their dairy content and as well as other additives and oil in the chocolates. Even if u manage to find a chocolate bar that is allergy free its often too pricey and contains too much sugar in it. Any one can make anything tasty by adding refined sugar in it. Imagine feeding your kids store bought sugar filled chocolates. No wonder obesity in children are increasing at an alarming rate nowadays. My chocolates is made only with 3 ingredients....Its so easy to make and it uses ingredients that you have readily available all the time in your kitchen cabinet. The main ingredient in this chocolate bar recipe is unsweetened Cocoa powder. Cocoa powder are a rich source of minerals such as iron, magnesium and zinc. They are also high in antioxidants that help prevents inflammation in the body. Our next ingredient for the chocolate bar is coconut oil. The benefit of coconut oil to the body is never ending. Its high in medium chain triglycerides which is good for the brain to function. It increases your energy level and aids in weight loss. Lauric acid in the coconut oil can help kill harmful pathogen such as fungus, bacteria or even virus. Coconut oil have the ability to reduce your appetite, improving the blood cholesterol levels and reduce heart disease risk. Enough said on the coconut oil, now lets talk about the third and final ingredient, that is raw honey. Raw honey has a high anti-bacterial property. It can be used both topically or orally to fight inflammation in the body. For those of you, who have allergy with Cocoa powder, you can substitute this with carob powder. If you have problem using honey, then you can substitute it with maple syrup or any sweetener of your choice. Now lets get started on the recipe....

You will need:-
- 1 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup raw honey
- chocolate moulder or just a small baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Method:-
- Mix coconut oil, honey and cocoa powder well
- pour the mixture to your chocolate moulder or to your lined baking dish.
- Add your desired toppings such as nuts or dried fruits (optional)
- Place it in fridge for 30 mins till it is all set and hard.
- Indulge and enjoy every bite.
p/s:- Its so easy to over indulge. Mindful eating plays an important role here. A small size a day goes a long way.
