Guilt Free delicious Raw Vegan Ice cream (only 2 ingredients) Paleo and Diabetic friendly. No ice cream machine required !!!!





I must admit that I do get a lot of cravings for ice cream from time to time. Walking pass the gelato lane in the city or even in supermarkets is a real torture for me. It is in a way a blessing in disguise for me cos when I come to think about the amount of calories and sugar that contains in one small pack of ice cream can really give one a heart attack... Gasp!!

Doesn´t mean that if you can´t have dairy products then you should forget about having ice cream all together. By substituting the standard ice cream ingredients with healthier ingredients, you create a really creamy and guilt free ice cream. This ice cream recipe calls for only 2 simple ingredients. Its hard to believe but you gotta make it yourself to believe it. You can create different flavours for the ice cream as per to your taste. So now lets get started on the recipe.


Hazelnut flavor, strawberry flavor and chocolate flavor

For Vanilla Ice cream

You will  need :-

  1. 2  very ripe bananas
  2. 1 tsp Vanilla 

How to :-

  • Slice the bananas into coin size and store it in a freezer bag. Freeze it for at least 4 hours. I usually prefer to freeze it over night
  • After it has froze for at least 4 hours, take it out and let it rest outside for 10 minutes
  • After the 10 minutes waiting time, transfer the bananas into your high speed food processor or blender. Add the vanilla as well and blend till it is smooth and creamy just like ice cream consistency. 
  • Transfer it to freezer safe container and freeze it for at least 5 hours before serving it.

For Chocolate Ice cream

 You will need :-

  1. 2 very ripe bananas
  2. 1 tsp raw cacao

How to :-

Repeat the process from above how to... but instead of vanilla add the cacao in to the blender n blend till smooth. 


For strawberry Ice cream

You will need :-

  1. 2 very ripe bananas
  2. a handful of frozen strawberries

How to :-

Repeat the same process from above....but instead of vanilla add strawberries in the blender and blend till smooth and creamy. 


For Nut butter flavor ice cream

You will need :-

  1. 2 very ripe bananas 
  2. 2 tbsp nut butter of your choice ( almond butter or hazelnut butter)

Tips ;- 
  • Choose really ripe bananas for this recipe so your ice cream will be nice sweet. 
  • To scoop the ice Cream first you need to warm your ice cream scooper. You can warm it in microwave or let it sit in hot water for a few minutes.
  • If it gets s little hard to blend, do add a little almond or coconut milk to it just to smooth the process of blending.
  • Garnish it the way you like. I prefer to have it with roasted nuts and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup. So here is you chance to be creative.   

You can always play around with your ingredients.  But the base should always be frozen bananas. This is probably the healthiest ice cream what you will ever eat. It is packed with nutrients and yet still manage to satisfy your ice cream cravings without having all the negative side effects which you ussualy get from indulging in the regular dairy filled ice cream.
